Fine, sterile needles are placed at specific points along the body's meridians — pathways that classical Chinese medicine has charted for thousands of years. The needle is thin and flexible, nothing like an injection needle; many people barely feel it.
The treatment is quiet and unhurried. After needle placement, you rest while the body does its work.
Acupuncture is offered as an individual appointment. Each session begins with a conversation about what is presenting, allowing the treatment to be shaped by the person in the room on that day, not a fixed protocol.

Chinese Herbal Medicine
The Chinese herbal pharmacopoeia encompasses hundreds of individual substances — dried roots, bark, leaves, flowers and seeds — each with documented properties and actions. A prescription is not a fixed formula off a shelf; it is assembled and adjusted for the individual based on their particular pattern of imbalance.
Herbal medicine can address presentations that respond well to sustained internal treatment: chronic conditions, digestive complaints, conditions that fluctuate with the seasons, and many others that a practitioner can discuss with you at your appointment.
It may be prescribed alongside acupuncture or as a standalone consultation, depending on what is most appropriate for the individual.
